**Letter from the Stake Youth Leaders about the Stake activities:

Hello everyone, We are really excited to announce the upcoming Fall Harvest Activity at Raytown. We really hope to see all of the youth there. Since we will be on a farm, please remind your youth not to wear open toed shoes and to bring a flashlight.Super Saturday will be from 2-4 in Madison and then everyone will head out to the farm for dinner which starts at 5:00 p.m.. The dance will be at 6:00 p.m. for ages 14-18 and there will be a fun activity for ages 12-13 during that time. After closing prayer, everyone will be on their own. We think they we will close everything down around 10:00, so everyone can get home before midnight. After the dance, we will have:
A hayride. It may be haunted or we may have a haunted house set up. It will be a surprise!
Although the Maize is not open this year due to all of the rain from the recent hurricanes which caused the corn not to produce very well, we are letting ya'll go through it at night rather than during the day. The corn is not very tall and it will be more fun this way.
We are not sure if we will have the corn cannons or cow trains available after the dance, but we will let you know at the dance. Thanks for all of your help.

New Info!!!
The girls have been wanting to have a sleepover for awhile and we have decided to throw one for them! We will be having a sleepover at Sister Howard's house address is: 446 OakLawn Dr. Pearl (Live Oaks Subdivision). The girls need to bring their favorite snack to share with everyone and stuff to sleep with and stuff/clothes for the temple trip. We will be taking the girls to the church in the morning for the temple trip. The girls can bring their sleeping stuff with them to the church, we will store it in the church, and they can pick it up when they return from the temple trip. We will be providing dinner and breakfast for the girls, so they will need money for any snack they want and lunch. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Baptism Trip Info

**This Wednesday, August 20th, we will be participating in the Brandon Ward Youth Olympics at the church 7:00 pm. It is a combined YM/YW activity.

**The youth will be going on a temple trip on Saturday the 23rd. Per Brother Flemming, the youth need to meet at the Church that morning, and they will be leaving the church by 5:45 am. The girls will need money for food and will need to have an interview with one of the members of the Bishopric before they go (a member of the Bishopric should be calling to set that up). So far I know that Sister Jordan will be attending and have many other sisters "possibly" attending. As soon as I know that info, I will post it.

**Wednesday, August 27th, we will be having our monthly service project. We will be washing the parents car as a "Thank you" for all the love, support and work they do for the girls. The girls need to wear clothes that they can work in/get wet and be at the church at 7:00 pm. Parents, plan to bring your car for a wash!

**We are tentatively planning the young women sleepover for the weekend of August 29th-30th, which is labor day weekend. So far, not too many families will be out of town or have plans for that weekend, but again, the activity may be postponed if too many families will be gone. More details to follow.
